"Bulgaria condemned the "unfair and absurd" verdicts and called for a strong reaction from its Western partners -- the European Union, NATO and the United States." How many Bulgarians are fighting with us in Iraq?

Better yet - I would sure like to see some facts in this case. It sounds as if these Bulgarians are accused of INTENTIONALLY infecting over 400 children. If they actually, knowingly, and intentionally did such an act - then I have no problem with the verdict and penalty.
On the other hand - if these medical workers were just using the blood supply given to them by the Lybian government - and either had to use that blood, or didn't know that the blood was tainted, then there is no case and this is just a sham.
I just haven't seen enough facts to know in my mind what the real story is. I certainly HOPE that these folks didn't intentionally murder these kids with the Virus....

Start doing this for pedophiles and watch such crimes diminish to near zero!

Wow, just like Stalin in 1952, when he accused Jewish doctors to have intentionnally killed Soviet officials and trying to undermine the health of the Soviet Union...

How many Bulgarians are fighting with us in Iraq? This should not be the question. What the article fails to say is what the doctors are alleged to have known and when, and what sort of hearing they got.

"Thirdly, I expect Gaddafi to act like a humanist to win certain political credit, which he needs from world public opinion," he told national radio. oh great.

probably due to unsanitary conditions. Huh? AIDS isn't spread by what one would normally think of as "unsanitary conditions", the kind of conditions that would spread cholera or T.B. And if their blood supply was that contaminated, you would also see a corresponding jump in the adult population.
But who knows about the French. Maybe the rape of children is on their list of "unsanitary conditions".

Several Hundred Bulgarians are fighting with you in Iraq.

If it is true that they did this deliberately then they should be shot. But the story leaves out their motive. Why would they do this?

If this was intentional, then bully for the Libyans.
Nothing less would be appropriate for this despicable stunt..
