I would love to see someone of Mel's caliber running Disney instead of that scum Eisner.

Those quotes sound like parodies. I wouldn't put much faith in this report.

Wow you must have some stories to tell about Disneyland history. Ever thought of writing a book?
To: antaresequity
There she is! Looks like she just read John Kerry's voting record on defense.

If Mel would buy Disney then we'd visit Disney World. Till then we won't waste a penny on liberals and Disney is loaded with liberals and perverts.

Our family history and its part in history is a very rich story indeed...that should be told. My grandmother was one of the singers who sang the anthem at the opening of the golden gate bridge for example...who when she passed away left her fortune to UCSF which became the seed that built the Neo Natal Intensive Care Wing there....there is tons to remember...and some I have tried to forget...
I have boxes of letters my grandpa wrote my grandmother...as she was always traveling...singing...she was an opera singer.
My most cherished letter is written on the back of a vaudville playbill from early playland...before it was playland it used to be quite barabary...On the playbill are the likes of Mae West, WC Fields etc...
On the back of it is my grandfather describing his first airplane ride in a bi-plane over the ocean beach area...
Memory lane....sigh

Don't throw your own money in it, Mel. Throw OTHER people's money in it. Then make them pay you big bucks to run the thing.

It isent Mel. It is the content of the movie. The message is more important than Mel and all the folks involved.

That would be wonderful. I bet Mel would put an end to Gay Daze.
To: wagglebee
Maybe he could fire Peter Jennings and rid us of Gay Days at Disneyland? Go Mel!

Gibson friends agree: "Gibson has the sensibilities Hollywood needs," one told Page Six. "He has the right insight to lead a studio. Look at those numbers! Now, that is how to make movies - none of this $120 million nonsense." Oh horse manure!
Non-Babelfish translation: Gibson is the most biggest hugest like totally awesome maker of money in movies EVER and we think he should bring his Midas touch over HERE right now!
