Rummy reads quote from Kerry "I committed atrocities in Vietnam". Then adds: You say that you actually committed atrocities in Vietnam. Why did you not object? You have the right to disobey an unlawful order.
Well sir, I knew I could get out of there easier by coming up with three boo boos and I didn't want to get my commander angry and not be able to hold this over his head". After I left, I didn't commit anymore atrocities and felt better about myself when I threw my medals (not my real medals) onto the Whitehouse lawn. I left my buddies to fend "with one less". It was no big deal.
