Anhydrous is not your nice, friendly, Mr. Clean type ammonia.

About a quarter of a lungful and it's game over, six feet under, hope you like daisies time.

They had an anhydrous ammonia release at the skating rink that seriously injured, blinded one man. As a result of that they descended on my blueline machine like a flock of vultures. From that time on any whiff of ammonia, even just two molecules, was reported to the highest authorities and eventually we had to discontinue blueline operations altogether. Changing tanks was a challenge when the fumes escaped into the room, got to admit.

I've never heard of anhydrous, sounds potent.

Arrests following a long and complex sting operation netted our local police a couple of dozen of the bad guys recently. Apparently, plain clothed police went into convenience stores, carried two bottles of nasal spray to the checkout counter, and mumbled under their breath they were going to make meth. If the guy making $5.15 an hour sold it to them, they were busted.
