One "theory" is that much evidence, documents, etc. were destroyed that effectively ended investigations/prosecutions. Facts are problematic enough, I try to ignore the conspiracy theories. All I know is the Arabs bought a BUNCH of the gold reserves of G. Britain and US. I'd rather be functioning in a economic frame that has something to back up it's paper.
