It's not that I mind WorldNetDaily getting caught with their pants down, but this entire thread makes FReepers look bad.
First of all, Senator Kerry is a *long-time* pilot (see post #70). WorldNetDaily didn't even know to go to avweb.com to verify this fact.
Second, this is *precisely* the sort of planted story that makes conservatives look bad...as if we were spreading a rumor that could easily be disproven.
It's like planting a story of GWB snorting cocaine. Soon the liberal media goes nuts over it, then they all look silly when it turns out that some felon made up the whole story from prison.
Look at all of the posts on this thread calling Senator Kerry a liar about flying in Israel, claiming that the T-34 prop plane trainer was more complex than his GulfStream V family jet, etc.
This is precisely how your opponent drums up sympathy from the public...while simultaneously discrediting his critics.

"T-34 prop plane trainer"
I couldn't find this in the article. Where did you get this piece of information? If it was a prop plane, not a jet fighter trainer as asserted by the WND article, you are right. This thread should be pulled.

Ive no particular expertise to comment on the aeronautical aspects of the store, but if And I wanted to look at Aqaba, so I'm coming down over Aqaba, and I suddenly hear this voice on the intercom, and he says, 'Senator, you'd better turn faster, you're going over Egypt. is true its odd he didnt include the tale of the intercept by the Egyptian Air Force, Im sure it was exciting.
