This is just ridiculous, 20 years ago this crap wasn't even considered and most children turned out okay.

Sheesh. How long will it be before we start reading about school shootings in nursery school?

I would venture to say that most children of 20 years ago or more turned out better than the majority of children today. All children, at one time or another, are withdrawn, sad, irritable, tearful, et cetera.
I would say that the chance for an incorrect diagnosis is much, much higher with such a young child, who cannot yet well express his or her feelings in words. It's more than just ridiculous, it's careless and dangerous. And it leads to adults who cannot work themselves out of even the slightest problem, because they get taught that pills will fix their issues.

If you project that 9.2 growth rate into the future, you'll see that by 2050, all of America will be on drugs by preschool.

Not only is this ridiculous but if those numbers are true, it is very, very frightening. What, someone please tell me, does a 2-year-old have to be depressed about that they would need to be on an antidepressant? Putting any child on such medication at such a young age is the highest form of abuse - mentally and physically. Would be interesting to see what kind of adults these doopy-head kids will turn out to be.
