Brinkley's source didn't tell him the entire truth -- that explains why Brinkley is rushing out a new printing....complete with CORRECTIONS.

This is probably the most important thing to me this election year, standing against these that hate this great nation willing to destroy it's strength its military sons and daughters.
I sure hope that noted historian Brinkley is listening to this.

I fear that the lame stream media will do everything to assure that this press conference will be a non-story as early as tomorrow. ......we'll have to see that WE cover it, blogs, FR, email, you name it.

These men are breaking my heart. Mine too. I was young back then but I remember my grandfather, a WWI vet, with tears in his eyes, trying to explain a group of anti-war protesters spouting filth. He would be proud his granddaughter is watching these men tonight.

I cannot get over how powerful these men's statements are. Seems they knew Kerry would try and turn his military service into a political career. I'm sure the mainstream media will try their best to ignore this but it is devastating!

It's a moving, cathartic event for some REAL Vietnam War heroes. They are speaking from the heart, they are wonderful mature grandfathers, fathers, husbands and veterans, and they have come forward to speak out against a man (men ... Douglas Brinkley has taken huge damage here too) who has hurt them terribly. To say he is grossly unqualified to take the terribly important mantle of Commander in Chief.
To: prairiebreeze
We lost the war at home and hundreds of thousands of people lost their lives thanks to Kerry.

Here's one thing that Zumwalt said:
"He slips easily into multiple personalities depending on the audience he is addressing! Personality disorder that will endanger America if elected.!"

CBS and CNN, at least, have tried to tie these guys to the Republican party.
Question: How many of these guys, after action, went and bought a camera and went back to recreate their actions, as Kerry did.
If they had, they too would have footage on which to run for public office.

Isn't Elliott the one who wrote the "glowing" reports about Kerry? Unfortunately, people don't understand the inflated military rating system. Kerry had average reports. If you check the actual reports, check out box 16 or 18 depending on the form to see where Kerry rated among his peers. He was average and promoted at an average rate.

I sure hope that noted historian Brinkley is listening to this. You and me both. But I saw him earlier on FNC and he was doing the "this is just politics" squirm.
