The nasty reporter (the nastiest) is someone
by the name of "Charles" --- please let's
try to get his surname or his employer's name.

Here.
Have O'Reilly on speaking with Douglas Brinkley. First they're discussing the Iraqi prisoner abuse issue, but Bill said they'd be addressing news from today shortly...
To: cajungirl
American Idol not on for two more hours here! (Well, an hour and 45 minutes from now...).
To: cyncooper
I wonder if O'Reilly will ask old Doug why he's having to have his brand spanking new book reprinted with REVISIONS!

An article on FR said they spoke for an hour and yet it looks as though C-Span will cover less than five minutes.C-Span must have found a few minutes that make the group look bad...or when they say something neutral about Kerry....The bias is so infuriating.
To: prairiebreeze
Brinkley on Fox says today's event highly politicized and says O'Neill worked "at the behest" of Nixon back then.
First, O'Neill appears to me genuinely motivated by anger at Kerry's actual actions, not acting as a ploy.
And how does that explain the rest of the vets?
They can't claim people can't question Kerry's Vietnam credentials because to question a vet is beyond the pale somehow, then these same people turn around and tar the motives of other decorated vets who have something to say.

I just looked at the schedule online and it looks to me like they are covering over an hour of the press briefing. (unless I am reading the schedule wrong)

To: Howlin
He did NOT. They had a very short discussion of the Kerry issue without addressing the revision business.
To: Howlin
Thanks!
