Agreed. Rush said the day before that the press seems gleeful about the situation. The left and therefore the media have been looking for an excuse to portray the Military and the Military option as a poor way of handling the war on terror.

This is just more of the same drumbeat that we heard from day one. The war will only make more people terrorists, the Iraqis aren't ready for democracy, it's Vietnam. This is all designed to defocus the United States on its primary mission: to finish the war on terror.

Unlike the left I have faith that the Military will investigate this and punish anyone who stepped over the line. That's the reason this is not a big deal to me and I think to most Americans.
