Jobs predicted that the iKerry would be a welcome addition to the Apple family of iProducts such as iPhoto, iTunes, iChat, iMovie and others. Jobs also denied rumors that the original internal name for the iKerry was the iFlipFlop.

President Kerry will be able to store gigabytes of MP3s with Jobs' help, and will have a sleek, shiny new appearance.

LOL!

I use and admire Apple's products. I can't stand Steve Jobs' liberal politics. It presents something of an internal conflict. Do I boycott Apple (with Algore on the Board of Directors) to avoid doing business with commie liberals? Or do I hold my nose because OS X is the best? Since Rush is still a Macintosh user, I'll follow his lead and hold my nose, but sometimes it isn't easy.

Why does this remind me of Gore bringing in Naomi Wolf? Maybe it's the scent of desperation.

Apple is already planning a recall of the iKerry in the summer due to a logic board problem.

Apple's Jobs to help re-design John Kerry

What's he gonna do? Put him in a pink suit with an aqua see-through shirt?

My iMac DV is on it's last legs. I was thinking about upgrading to the new flat screen iMac.....but after hearing this I'm not so sure. I've never had a PC....can anyone make a recommendation? My budget is $800-$1200.

Here's a letter I ripped off to various Apple contacts...

I have owned five Macintosh computers in the past, and still own two of them. I have even purchased Apple stock against the advice of my broker. Why? Because I believe in what the company stands for. Or did.

If what I heard today is true – that Steve Jobs is advising John Kerry on ways to polish his economic message to beat George Bush – I will never purchase anything to do with Apple again, and will cease recommending it to my acquaintances. In fact, I will recommend anything but.

George Bush is friendlier to the business community, and therefore to the economy and therefore to the everyday citizen of this country. Unless you want higher corporate taxes, higher gas taxes, higher income taxes, more government bureaucracy, etc. If you do, John Kerry is your man.

In addition, even should John Kerry be better than Bush on economic grounds, which I will not concede, it doesn’t matter if there are people trying to kill you. You might believe that Bush rattled a hornets nest and the terrorists wouldn’t come after us if he hadn’t done so.

There were no hornets nests rattled on September 10th to cause what happened the next day. And many people from many different walks of life have pointed out that the day will come when the militant Islamic culture and anti-Western Civilization mindset in the Middle East will bump into our lives. We could wait, and they would be better armed and better prepared. Better to act while we still have the upper hand.

You might criticize the President for his preemptive action in Iraq. However, many of those criticizers also harp about the inaction in Afghanistan before 9/11.

We learned a lesson then. It’s us or them, and I’d rather it was us. I’d rather still be in love with Apple, but apparently the Silicon Valley fog hasn’t lifted yet to show reality in its full glare.

Grow up Steve!
