[history]
May 3, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - In testifying to the 9/11 commission, President Bush contradicted former President Bill Clinton's claim that he'd warned Bush that Osama bin Laden would be his No. 1 problem when he took office, a new report says. Bush told the panel that Clinton seemed a lot more passionate about the dangers of North Korea's nuclear program and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Time magazine reports.

Heavens. This is the closest the President has ever come to outing his predecessor.

I have to say I am impressed;
Former terrorism adviser Richard Clarke, who served both presidents, now claims Clinton put a higher priority on terrorism. While working for Bush, however, he told reporters that Bush took a much better and stronger approach. Clarke left the Bush administration after failing to get a top-level job he sought in the Homeland Security Department.
This is fine and balanced reporting my friends. They cover what he is saying now, compare it to what he said before, and point out his personal point of interest in the matter.
Just imagine if the rest of the press was as diligent.

In the immortal words of Brit Hume: "Clinton was too busy waving his wand."
Ya gotta love Brit.

Considering the past histories of both presidents, I'd say Clinton was the lier.
Richard Clarke: Clinton put a higher priority on terrorism.
Clinton pardoned and released 16 convicted terrorist in August, 1999. So the statement is true, but his priority was to release them.

Clinton seemed a lot more passionate about the dangers of North Korea's nuclear program Would that be the program that he enabled?

Bill Clinton = Guilty of not protecting America from the 911 attacks. Fear not, the truth will opt. The blood of American innocents and military personnel runs from his filthy traitor hands. The same applies to Jamie Gorelick, another "Democrat" person directly responsible for the 911 attacks!
To: kattracks
This may explain why Bob Kerrey left early. He knows, of many Dems, that Clinton is capable of lying. He probably didn't want to be faced with the truth from the president that he knows is probably telling it. Difficult to face the press, 'ya know.
