Holocaust of Hindus During the Muslim Occupation of India
Hindutva.org ^

Posted on 05/02/2004 12:26:49 AM PDT by John Will

Hence we are going to rely on Muslim historians, in India and abroad, who have written hundreds of glowing accounts of the devastation caused by the progress of Islamic armies across the world (and in India). As our focus is India, we are going to look only at what happened in India during the Islamic invasion and the following struggle for independence from Islamic rule that was waged by the Hindus. A pronounced feature of these Muslim histories is a description - in smaller or greater detail but always with considerable pride - of how the Hindus were slaughtered en masse or converted by force, how hundreds of thousands of Hindu men and women and children were captured as booty and sold into slavery, how Hindu temples and monasteries were razed to the ground or burnt down, and how images of Hindu Gods and Goddesses were destroyed or desecrated.

The "Hindutva" crowd is just as bad as the jihadists in many ways, especially with the BJP (and its neo-fascist allies in the RSS) holding power in India. They are trying to capitalize on anti-Muslim bigotry in the west to advance their views, but it should be noted that they are just as willing to go after Christians and other "evil western influences" such as Valentine's Day and disdain for the "caste" system in India.

Your post is a timely one, and I would like to see more of this History. Hordes of Muslims, Europeans and associated world-church-wannabe interests are devising propaganda against India-USA relations as we read. It is no longer a secret that India is a major influence blocking their desires to politically dominate the world.

The difference between the Hindus and Islam (and certain allies of Islam throughout History) is that the Hindus haven't tried nearly as much to exterminate whole religions. And I, for one, can get along with the more peaceful but strong polytheists than those who are not so peaceful, yet weak.

> In the opinion of the author, all such controversial structures should be taken possession of by a national educational trust and be converted into schools for humanist and rationalist education. This could be the first step in the long journey for converting all places of religious worship all over the globe into schools for humanist and rationalist education where humans can finally be taught the futility of worshipping human ignorance termed as God and the stupidity of fighting each other due to the different names we have given to human ignorance.

I share this site's revulsion at Islamic history, but my sympathies stop there.

On the otherhand I don't see them trying to export it to Europe and America. Not the threat the Islamonazi's are.

So Christianity is monotheistic? Really? That will be news to the Christians who worship three Gods (father, son, holy ghost), in addition to the demi-Gods called "Saints".

In other words, the various Hindu "Gods" are considered manifestations (godheads) of the One universal God.

There is one universal God (brahmaan) but there is a hierarchy of manifestations below that, forming a pantheon.

Valentino, you're nutz. Hinduism most definitely isn't atheistic -- they've got too many gods to be that. Ambrose, int eh essence, some groups state that Hidnus have one supreme god and many manifestations of that deity, as evidenced by their pantehon of Gods. but sinc ethey don't worship that ONE Godhead, they are polytheists.

I'm guessing you aren't Christian, most definitely proven by your statement. Christians worship ONE God who is ONE person. Christ is the image of God who came on earth and the spirit is God's spirit. Christ is not a separate deity distinct from God the father.

Saints are NOT demi-gods.

Hindus at least, have not flown large airplanes into large buildings in the US. They, unlike Muslims, do not export ther excesses.
