...from April 28 till May 1 under the title of "Tolerance in Islamic Civilization".

They must have played Pinochle and watched movies, cuz there's not four days worth of talk about 'tolerance'.

I'd like to see more fuel hybrid cars, and other alternative energy sources developed.

Why enrich them?

If those things worked and were cheap, we would be seeing them already.

World Muslim scholars meeting in Cairo urged incorporation of Sharia into the International Law to avoid eruption of more crises or other forms of injustice.

M Kehoe meeting in St. Petersburg urged that nuclear weapons be detonated over Medina and Mecca.

Ut oh, here comes another fatwa...

Amen brother(sister?). There are thousands of good god fearing Christian farmers that would love to grow a crop of corn for ethanol production. E85 is one step in the right direction!

E85 for you folks that don't know is 15% ethanol (grain alcohol) mixed with 85% gasoline. Every gallon of ethanol we burn in our cars is one less gallon we need to by from them heathen muzzys. Ethanol burns clean and is a renewable resource.

"Some western researchers have found out that Islamic principles could be used to develop the International Law and incorporate its moral values into it," said Jaafar Abdel-Salam, the secretary general of the Islamic Universities Association.

He was speaking at the International Islamic Conference, held in Cairo from April 28 till May 1 under the title of "Tolerance in Islamic Civilization".

Ping for an unbelievable article.

They do work, but the incentive to produce them isn't there while gas prices are so low. If gas prices continue to go up, expect to see more hybrids. I am reading that in the future, we may even seem some high horse power hybrids.

"Islam, with its practices, is the best of international systems that could achieve peace," said Mohamed Dissouki, an International Law professor at Al-Azhar University, in the conference.

I agree. When all unwilling infidels have been killed and the rest have converted to Islam, then there will be peace. That is the ONLY possible outcome of International Sharia Law.

"In Europe, where the number of Muslims are noticeably growing, they are in need for guidance," said Ismail Amin, the imam of al-Aqsa Mosque.

THISis the kind of guidance these Muslims need to be shown....

Wherever Muslims are in great numbers or even in very small numbers they need guidence, but not from some hateful, venom spewing, mentally ill Muslim Cleric. Islam is the problem-not the remedy.

Exposing the terminally ill to more of the disease they are dying from, is pure insanity-I rest my case.

I wonder if anyone has made a roll of toilet paper with the Koran's writings on it... bet that could sell well.

Assuming the manufacturere could find an insurance carrier willing to write property and casualty insurance for the business -- which I doubt.

"Islam is a religion of reform. What rather needs change is its followers,"

On the contrary, the nature of Islam makes it unable to reform.

And Western civilization, in its bid to become more inclusive of iSLAM and its doctrine of 'peace', slits its own throat.

You mean the "Great Satan" & the atheistic, godless communists teaming up against the Muslim nutballs?

That is an interesting thought......I think I'd take that.

I agree, I don't mean to be cynical, but dang, you take a good # of people that you can't reason with, negotiate with, and hate your culture/country/religion, mix them in with another good # of people who won't stand up for their traditions, culture, or country and what do you have? A recipe for disaster. My wife thinks I'm crazy talking like this, but we are slitting our own throat.
