Looks like a muddy slog today, I'll take Lionheart wire to wire with a late charge from Quintons Gold Rush.

With the long odds, someone remarked that you might be able to buy a BMW with the winnings on the trifecta!

HEY.....So what's with the race announcer?? This is the second time in recent years that the most famous line in all sports was omitted. When you announce the Kentucky Derby, you MUST say "And DOWN THE STRETCH THEY COME!!
I feel gypped. I didn't get my usual goosebumps.
Good race, though. I picked the 'Place' and 'Show' horses. Picked Tapit to 'Win'.

Darn, Oh well I quess this is how rumors get started. I wish you were the owner too!!. I was watching the Derby and trying to pick you out of the crowd.
I saw that Dogwood Stable was the owner and seemed to remember that they used to syndicate many of their horses. Or... maybe I am just getting them confused with another owner.
The nearest I have ever gotten to the Kentucky Derby was meeting the owners of Casual Lies. I believe he eventually ran second. They kept him at Pleasanton prior sending him back to Kentucky for the Derby.
