"Fox News Sunday's" Chris Wallace announced Friday that he's planning to respond to ABC "Nightline" host Ted Koppel's decision to air photos and names of GI's Killed in Iraq, calling Koppel's broadcast "a stunt."
"I think it is such a stunt," Wallace told WRKO-Boston radio host Howie Carr.
"I will just say one thing to all of your listeners," he added. "Watch 'Fox News Sunday' this Sunday because we are going to have our response to Koppel and 'Nightline.'"
Wallace refused to be more specific about his plans for Sunday's show, but told Carr his response would be "a corrective."
"It's not a stunt, it's a corrective. It's what Fox News was invented to be, which is, we're different than the other guys and we're going to give you the other side of the story."
Pressed by Carr, Wallace elaborated just a bit. "We have an announcement we're going to make about Mr. Koppel and 'Nightline' and their show - and our response to it."
Asked if he was "declaring war on Ted Koppel on Sunday morning," Wallace told Carr, "You'll see. Some people may think it's that. . . It's going to make some news."

The Republcans currently hold a MAJORITY in congress, ruling it different story all together. When presidential judicial appointments are approved, then my opinion will change. A Majority in the Senate is not worth much in getting Judicial appointments approved unless a aparty has 60 votes.
One of the brilliant strategies devised by Democrats is to block judical nominees so the right gets mad at Republicans. If the Republicans fight back as Newt tried, the media kills them and the Republicans lose the Senate.
The Democrats know that the left doesn't care and most on the right haven't a clue about how our government works.
Why is it whenever Tom Daschle sees a consrvative the words "DUMB SUCKER" comes to his mind?

Perhaps FOX will read a list of people killed by terrorism since 911 then point out that since 911 none of these attacks have been HERE because of those brave men and women!
To enhance the meaning, maybe they will finally start reporting on what should have been a huge story about Al Quida & the chemical attack in Jordan that was stopped before it killed an estimated 80,000 people in Amman. Without those brave heroes that have sacrificed themselves, that attack may have hit one or more American city, but they have realized that it's safer to kill other Muslims, they don't take whole countries away from their grasp like we do.

You are probably too young to remember one Mad Magazine they published that had the cover duplicating the black and white look of the 'Composition Notebooks' popular in school for note taking.
Mad promised that the comic book could be read in class without the teacher realizing it.
But those devious ba##@#$%s assembled the comic with the cover upside down.
LOL

How about a reading of the last names of all the aborted babies since the beginning of the Iraq war? "Baby Girl Smith; Baby Boy Jones; Baby Girl Collins"...accompanied by photos of fetal scraps.
It would take hours.

If FOX NEWS CHANNEL didn't exist, it would have to be invented. They've really crushed the competition. If a late-night news and talk show that wasn't full of liberal ax-grinders didn't exist, it would have to be invented. Sounds like maybe it will be.

Another site reporting that Koppel only reported soldiers who died in Iraq. No mention of troops killed in Afghanistan, Kosovo, or elsewhere in war on terror. No bias there, ABC. Right.

If FOX News wanted to play hardball with the big boys, they would have been more aggressive following the CNN disclosures regarding covering up for years for Hussein. It would have been easy as pie for FOX to have run commercials stating CNN: The Most
Distrusted Name in the News.
FOX declined the opportunity for hardball.
