Situated on the site of the former Kaiser Steel mill approximately 40 miles east of Los Angeles, California Speedway is a great place to watch a race and experience the thrills of NASCAR. It is one of the premier auto racing venues in the country, hosting six major racing weekends, which includes the largest attended sporting event in the state.

Hi Norm. It's tough trying to watch qualifying when Eureka is having a rare heat wave. Record high temp for yesterday. 73 and it will be "hotter" today.

California and Michigan are my least favorite tracks. The groove is far too wide and there's little bumping and grinding.

I hate to see a race come down to who got the best gas mileage that day.

Looks like a great Busch race on tap tomorrow!!! Tony Stewart in the 29. I'm sticking with the 8 and the 21. Big surprise.

This weeks Cup race was hard to pick, I wound up with Busch, Newman, Kahne, Marlin, McMurray, Sadler, Nemechek and Mears. I was very tempted to take Rusty since he seems to be on a roll. I have to save Jr for later no matter what, and darn it all Kahne is gonna make me pick him in "B" he is so strong.
