You're in big trouble when your mom gets home.

That's pretty much true. There seems to be a choice of Socialist or Liberal. Any mention of Libertarianism or Conservatism draws a blank stare.

What's a Zotr? (you're so clever with those fancy symbols)
To: KDRaiderofthenight
Use the (((:::SEARCH:::))) function and type in appropriate keywords. If it's in there, it'll come up, sooner or later.

If you can't find it in the NRO archives, then email Jonah Goldberg and ask for a link.
I found him to be both prompt and gracious.

"Professor Kraynak, who recently brought Alan Keyes and Anne Coulter to school, two weeks in a row."He's a real faculty asset.

POSC_385_A Modernity & Conserv Amer Criti
POSC_464_A Sem: Freedom & Authority
The asset is contrasted with Wagner.
From his paper, "Hollow at the Core: The Poverty of Conservatism as Political Philosophy"
"Of course, one can ask, "why must we be reasonable and self-critical?" The answer is, "we need not be reasonable, and liberal theory (as repeatedly observed) does not require reasonableness in citizens and their politics, only fairness in its institution."
That was after considerable discourse on the virtue of reason. I have always held that we must be reasonable and self critical, or else we could be wrong, false immoral and unfair and never know it. Liberals, on the other hand don't care if they are wrong, false, immoral and unfair, just as long as any unreasonable errors, falsehoods and immoralities are applied fairly equally.
Good Luck in your studies. We are here to support Freedom, the U.S. Constitution and Conservatism.

Yeah - There are some 33,000 web sites about news stories that repeat the "fable" of "Kerry + hero + Vietnam" ....
There are some 6,000 web sites that repeat the democrat's lies about Bush + AWOL + Vietnam ...

Yes, I am. This Kimber® is like my Rolex®, and my Glock® 32/.357 SIG is like a Timex®. The .45 is smooth, easy to shoot, and oh so accurate. It's my carry piece, replacing the G32.
What model do you carry?

Sweet piece, TS! My full-size Eclipse Target II is my favorite carry piece. A good bit heavier than the G32, but with a whole lot less kick and better stopping power.
