On October 21, 2001, someone created an account with the screen name kcrack. He had a gift for profanity. Some examples are here, presented in white font so that only those who really want to see the profanity will:

This might be little bit hard, but I have to say what I feel, and it is just my feelings towards some things here. Ishmael ha, maybe somewhere down the road something got kind of f---k up, but when did Islam came to be? Who was before them? What tribe did Mohamed came from? What was his full life all about? Etc, etc... I am getting freaking tired of this Islam BS and bumble jumbo, don't preach to me about religion whose only goal is to conquer and destroy!

So, here is my free cents of what I think for your ideas and religion: F---k u all, all of you! your allah, your prophet your mecca and everything. You come to this country, or better, you live in this country, take welfare, spend time in jail on tax payers money, if you know what I am talking about, especially that asshole who just wanted to detonate a bomb, then u hijack airplanes in name of stupid prophet and allah or what ever his f----ing name is, and you have balls to tell me all this great ball shit about your religion, your religion is the only one that sends young kids to commit suicide and kill innocent, and I know in a little brain of muslims they are martyrs, martyrs my ass, I hope that those mothers and fathers and imams and others who so eagerly await their offspring to blew themselves out, born in deepest part of hell, for after all, the price of the sin is HELL!

So, enjoy your virgins and all this nonsense, and don't tell a person who saw September 11 in his own eyes about your f----ing religion. And just at the end, I don’t personally give a three flying f---ks about pc and what liberals or media thinks, what I believe is that Middle East should be wipe out from the face of the Earth long ago!

And believe you me on this; if there should be another attack on this country, you better pray that you are not here, for one there is one thing to practice a religion and other to use it to destroy people. I came from a rough life in my life and I am still in 20’s but let me tell you something, somebody comes and hurts my family; I will make sure that those who did will pay a price that will make them squeak!

That was on this thread. This one shows that he was claiming to live in East Berlin.

East Village ha, he probably approached some fags and knowing them they couldn't fight, man I want that man to walk in East Berlin were I live, his ass would be toast before he could say help me, what a crank of ball shit.

Although kcrack was profane and had some rather unpleasant opinions, he could type in English relatively well. Again.

Many months later, a new user appeared by the name of matrix2225. One of the moderators made a comment on the Abuse Reporting boards that said "This poster is odd." That was after moving this thread to chat.

Jim informed us then, "Yes, he is odd. When he was here before he couldn't control his mouth. Cussed like a drunken sailer and didn't hold anything back. Thought I'd let him go for awhile to see how long it takes him to go back to the same old routine. In the meantime, he's sucking up like crazy, hoping not to get kicked out."

"I almost posted a copy of this to his first thread, and decided not too. Figured he'd blow-up soon enough.

Matrix2225, however, did not claim to be from East Berlin. Instead, he was polish, but living in the tri-state area. He also needed occasional prayer requests. Eventually, his account was suspended a few times for spamming the board. His account was finally removed from service for good January 16th of this year.

Before then, however, matrix2225 convinced another Freeper to host some images for him.

Over the past day or so, there has been some controversy over another poster BogdanPolska12, where some have suggested the poster has been making up stories of tragedies. So far, we have not had pointed to us any news reports that verifies this poster's tales. See the following threads for reference:

One thing aboug Bogdan. We knew he had been here before, at least once. He was also previously known as gdyniawitawa. gdyniawitawa did not claim to be from New Jersey, or to be Polish. gdyniawitawa claimed to be in London.

Here is something really interesting. Bogdan's profile on FR points to a webpage on Comcast. And on it, there is a photo album. If you look at the pictures in the photos that matrix2225 had up, and compare them to the pictures in Bogdan's album, you will find many of them are the same.

There may have been more photos common to both. I stopped checking when I found this many.

In addition, on Bogdan's album, there is an image with a label of Jan II Sobieski. This was the topic of a matrix2225 thread. [LM addition: in a bit of irony, that matrix2225 thread is the same one that prompted one of the staff here to comment "This poster is odd".]

I thought that instead of having people wonder what was going on, I would just share what we know. Beyond this, I have no idea.

This guy sounded like he had a few "toys in his attic," so to speak, but I never thought he was a fraud.

I grew suspicious today when I checked the local newspaper sites here in New Jersey (where he claimed to live) and found no mention of an accident yesterday. A double fatality would have made the local sections of any newspaper.

For comic relief, I would recommend that everyone should visit the "Help - My Daughter I Have Has 102 Fever" thread linked above in the body of the main message . . . it was one of the most entertaining threads I've ever seen here.

I only "knew" Bogdan from a few threads. Missed the fevered daughter thread so when his post about losing his wife came on I was moved with compassion as any normal human would be. I didn't stop to analyze the validity of the post because you want to reach out and offer condolences. I don't feel like a victim very much. He has the problem not us. Prayers for his mental health are probably in order.

He posted war news, and rallied others to support the troops daily.

We are competing against AP/Reuters newswire-fed "hometown" papers and "local" TV news outlets by the hundreds, most all misleading our neighbors, endangering our troops, our war efforts, our nation.

Our troops need us all helping in that effort today.

I am grateful for the time bogdan spent here.

MEG33, after my initial surprise & disgust, I must say it has been an excellent thread for reflection. Got me to thinking about the important people in my life and how the little irritations or disagreements are so silly. So, today I'm especially praying for my loved ones and feeling grateful. bogdanPolska12's immaturity or mental disorder or whatever it is that prompted him to do what he did has blessed me. I prayed for him & his "family" but what was returned to me has been so much greater. Awesome.

I'm still in rage /denial mode, but the evidence is too 'coincidental' to be anything but the truth.
But your comment, quoted previously by others, seemed too prescient.
Once heard a sermon about how sometimes God reveals things and we sometimes don't realise it.
Not being too religious myself, I only vaguely remember said sermon as I had my mind on other things at the time.
But IIRC, the basic idea was that we as humans are sometimes oblivious to what God is trying to say.

It just is frustrating to me to see stuff like this happen.
