I'll tell you how I feel about this. I have no problems with anyone requesting prayers for any reason. If they are not legit, then perhaps they need the prayers most of all. I have no intentions of ever allowing cynicism to enter in. Someone requests a prayer, I'm willing to give them.

This man did not ask for money, I'm sure that if someone would have suggested taking up a collection for money to take his wife back to Poland all Freeper antenna would have gone up. That didn't happen. It was a prayer request. If someone is so lonely, or so empty, they have to resort to that, then they need the prayers most of all.

I grieved so much yesterday and prayed so hard that I decided to sit back and think about these facts as being explored now.

If it is not so ,if two lovely people were not cruelly killed,4 children were not left motherless,I can only rejoice.

Prayers to God ,support for Bogdan and his family and sentiments I and others expressed illustrates how many wonderful people we have here.

I would be sad to see any poster toy with the kindness of FReepers.Many of us wept with grief and sympathy.

We are not the poorer for it,but a hoaxer would be.It would have cost him his integrity and humanity...and God does not like to be mocked.

CGEB was a he, pretending to be a she, and I need go no further.."Deep" was a near original poster on this board...pretending, as I recall to be a sering USarmy special forces type in Germany, doing secret missions in Europe and the USSR..AS I recall the scam cam unglued whenhe had expressed his sorrow that the counldn't join us at the M4J in DC....Clinton's a Liar ( there's another name form the past) offered to send him a videotape of the event FedEx..whenhe couldn't provide a maildrop..it unravelled.....maybe there are some old thread around someone can point outto you..but, the guy was great A+ in creative writing class..

BG - we knew Logan was real from the git-go. We had pix of the little guy, and the drama surrounding his first months is something that just could not have been made up.

We've worried when he had downturns, and we rejoiced when we heard of progress, and I think a lot of us felt that we were a tiny bit of help to him with our prayers. It's been a roller-coaster at times, but to see him now in all his strapping, chubby, happy glory is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
