Thank you from Cee-gar man and family
Posted on 04/30/2004 8:05:15 AM PDT by Cee-gar Man US Marine
We thank you for your warmth and prayers. I read the web site with all the wonderful people that have thought of us. We are truly blessed. Nick had surgery a week ago to remove shrapnel from the bottom of his surviving eye, that was narrowly missed.I read him all the comments on this site before he went to sleep, he went to sleep a very happy man with a smile on his face. You will often hear him say he feels like George Bailey from the movie, It's a Wonderful Life. Reading all of this reminds us of the part where you can hear all the towns prayers from the heavens in the very beginning of the movie. He is thankful for life and will travel down the path that God has chosen for him, without questioning it.I am truly a very lucky lady to have such a wonderful man as my husband and our son could not have a better man to be his father. In the first hours of uncertainty, I prayed that he would remain here on earth to finish his mission in life..to inspire and give strength to others. He has started that mission almost immediately back in Iraq when he was still laying on the gurney and yelled out a Ooh Rah. His mission has just begun.I am typing this thank you for him, his eyesight in his good eye is still a little blurred. He was very honored that you all have said such wonderful things about him. He tells me that the people like you are what drives him to proudly serve this wonderful country of ours, you make sacrafice worth it. Thank you all so very much, from the Cee-gar Man and family

Thank you all so very much, from the Cee-gar Man and family. Well, you're welcome. But you got it backward. It is us who thank you! What a handsome hubby you have. I just love the smile on his face; he truly represents America's best.
Thank you both for your sacrifices. God bless you and God bless America.

Hi April,
What a wonderful message to wake up to this morning. I just saw a replay of the clip of Cee-gar Man being transported on that gurney yesterday on Fox News yesterday. We praise God that he was spared and will continue to do his good deeds.
I am sure he is eager to get back in the saddle, but tell him to take his time, take it slow. He deserves a good and complete recovery.
Thank you guys for your contribution to the U.S. and to the world. May God bless you triple fold.
Hug and kiss little cee-gar guy for us and tell him that we are proud of him also.
Welcome home Cee-gar Man US Marine.
Hearing from you guys have made our day. Keep in touch.

Wow. Thank you for taking the time to respond, for lifting our spirits.
Thanks, too, for helping some of us formerly clueless Americans understand the awesome courage and sacrifices of our military spouses, and their children.
Keeping YOUR "Ceegar" man (and our terrific response to the fearmongers and quagmire-peddlers) - and his family - in prayer!
Bless you!

I missed the original post with the news of your husbands injury. My family and I thank your husband for his sacrifice in defending our Nation.
Just finished prayers for a speedy recovery and full sight in his eye. Prayers for that peace that passes all understanding that only God can grant. Prayers will continue regularly.

I cannot read that without tearing up. He is truly a hero. I had to laugh when I read he yelled Oo Rah from the gurney. A Marine to the core! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!!
