How can we change this?

I'm really upset that our tax dollars are going towards this nonsense. How much has it cost us thus far?

I wish we had some sort of recourse. I know, I know.... I'm kind of obsessed with the cost of this sham. It's two weeks past April 15th tho and I feel like my husband and I are solely funding this joke.

You can't change the fact that there's a commission, but you might be able to change some people's perception of the commission. When you see some commission member grandstanding on a "news" show, you could blast off an email to the "news" people letting them know that you don't appreciate them being sycophantic hacks to a bunch of witch-hunting has-beens.

You might phrase it slightly more politely. But lately, I get the distinct impression that certain people are shocked and awed by the number of conservatives coming out of the closet.

Or you can pretend your specific tax dollars are going toward C-130's and yanking dictators out of spiderholes, and take up a nice relaxing hobby like gardening or stamp collecting.

We are also upset about the cost of this idiotic 9/11 Commission. What a bunch!!! If I were President Bush I would have said "I'll be glad to meet with the Commission, but I will not accept questions from Ms. Gorelick". And I really want to know what this Commission is going to accomplish in the end. We are not interested in a bunch of politicians looking for their 15 minutes of fame. The American people are looking for some intelligent answers as to how we can combat terrorism in the future. And this Commission has failed miserably at that task.
