You've got the President and the Vice President of the United States, clearing their schedule, to speak to this disgusting partisan committe... It shows a total lack of respect on Kerrey's/Hamilton's part. Disgraceful.

Gotta brief Terry McAwful and Kerry about their testimonyYeah, exactly. I sure hope someone taped it, in case these lying scum take things out of context, parsing out anything that looks unfavorable.
I wouldn't put ANYTHING past Dems. Anything.

Maybe they were asked to leave:
traitors in the midst?

It's not like either Kerrey or Hamilton have a job. The commission is supposed to be a full-time committment.

BOB KERREY AND LEE HAMILTON Shamless self-promoters. Now they get to do yet another grand tour of all the talk shows.
To: NYC Republican
Lee Hamilton had to leave early to meet PM Martin of Canada but I don't know anything about Kerrey yet.

I still can't understand why he can't stay an extra hour. Canadian PM? The one who bad-mouths us at every opportunity? Shameless act, IMO.
To: NYC Republican
Kerrey must have been disappointed because he didn't rush to the nearest microphone to tell whatall when on in the meeting.

What could POSSIBLY be more pressing??? Simple, they saw an opportunity to slap Bush and Cheney in the face.
Bush and the GOP need to declare political nuclear war this year.

So Hamilton didn't know about the commission meeting until just a few minutes before or something? Sheesh. That's mighty thin. I think they walked out early because there was no political gain in staying.

Had to leave? Let's see, apparently Canada's more important than the work of the commission. Okay, given the makeup of this commission I'll buy that.

Kerrey probably went to get his "I Claudius" haircut fixed. He has the worst haircut.

If you can't make an a$$hole of yourself on national television, what's the point of being there. It's not like that want to do something constructive.
