Who Pays for Lord Kerry's Manservant?
vanity

Posted on 04/29/2004 10:35:49 AM PDT by hang 'em

A perusal of Lord Effin's tax return shows no indication of the $45,000/yr salary paid to his valet/gofer.

Is it paid by Missus Ketchup? If so is it an illegal campaign contribution?

If Te-REY-sa doesn't foot the bill, do the taxpayers? (i.e. is the servant part of his senate staff). Is it ethical for Effin to utilize/abuse public resources this way?

Should Effin resign his Senate seat because he hasn't shown up for work in over a year?

Was he being serious, or just being a wise ass? I think he was being dumb, but really he was serious.

"NO SIR! WE CALL THEM SERVANTS! SIR!"

My guess is the manservent is paid out of the campaign fund.

Kerry has had him for 6 years. If Tay is footing the bill then the butler along with the painting, the Scaramouche, and anything else in Kerry's name is a gift. Remember, gifts of substantial value must be reported on one's income tax which he hasn't done...

A common misinterpretation of the "gift tax". Any gift to a single individual over $10,000 in a year must be reported on the giver's tax return and taxes paid on the amount over $10K. Also, gifts to spouses are exempt.

Prior to his manservant duties......
John Kerry met his future manservant when he was working at a windsurfing shop.Finding him to be pleasingly subserviant,John Kerry made him his caddy,he has since worked his way up the servant ladder to Manservant.

Kerry was basically homeless, unable to make car payments and behind in child support, when he was between rich wives.
Go figure.
A single lawyer and he couldn't afford rent.
He had to have rich benefactors open their condos to him.

Kerry was unable to make a car payment for 16 months- took Cadillacs for free from a Boston car dealer with mob ties.

Kerry's first wife was in the process of taking Kerry to
court, as he was behind in child support, when he was a US Senator-making around 147,000/yr IIRC.

Now, something is definitely wrong, if Kerry makes over 100k/year and can't afford rent, car payments or child support.

Since the past is prologue, it seems highly likely that Terroraza is paying for Marvin Nicholson to hold Kerry's hand when he goes to the bathroom.

I could never take service with Mr. Kerry. I find that the gentleman does not measure up to the required standard. ;)

Manservants are for the evil. Just ask Sir Simon Milligan and Manservant Hecubus.

Why don't you send the RNC a little note and ask them that question ..??

Let us pray (for Marvin's sake) that is all he has to hold!

Howie, is that you? ;-)

Only 45k a year? I wouldn't do that jerk's personal errands for any less than a million a month.

Me neither, I was just thinking the same thing.

And $45K doesn't go very far in Boston, either. How generous of the millionaires to hire some poor shmuck for peanuts. (sarcasm)

IIRC, most janitors at the major universities in the Boston area make just as much, if not more, than Lurch's manservant, with a very generous benefits package.

They would need the benefits, because Boston is very expensive, if you want anything bigger than a closet in a reasonably safe area. I'm sure, like in any big city, they have expensive housing costs and/or a long commute. Still not a bad salary.

Lurch's manservant probably likes the 'prestige' of working for his highness - LOL - and hanging around on Beacon Hill, a place his salary wouldn't necessarily afford him regular access to.

the drill instructor screamed ohhhh you must have maids and the guy replied no sir we call them servants. He was the one assigned to wipe the swab of alcohol on our butts when we got shots and we got a lot of them.

LOL!

I live 25 miles from Boston and a small ranch costs $300,000. On $45k, this guy could barely afford a 1-bedroom condo.

My sister & her fiance live 20 miles out and with 2 incomes have a one bedroom, but are still saving for the home. They have 30 and 60 minute avg commutes, each way. Her friend comes from a wealthy family and my sis showed me her 'starter' home - a 2-3 bdr (one converted from a den) cape cod about 15-20 miles out on a postage stamp yard with almost no front footage in a lovely town for $450K, apparently a steal. I love the area (not the politics) but wow!

We're used to the prices. The other day my wife got something from e-bay from a person living in the Dallas area. The person packed the box with the Dallas Real Estate section. We were shocked. Houses that would go for $500k here go for $100k in Dallas. We started talking about moving 8-) Wish we were closer to retirement age... kind of.
