INTREP - SODOMITE AGENDA
Please, someone explain how my moral objection to sodomy is akin to a phobia (i.e., homophobia)
To: LiteKeeper
I was just getting ready to post something similar: I'm sick of the term "homophobia" -- sick of it!! I am not AFRAID of homosexuals. I disagree (on a multitude of levels -- the most important of which is Christian) with their lifestyle.

Well, Merriam-Webster gives two definitions for "-phobia"; it seems that #2 would cover your moral objection:
1 : exaggerated fear of (acrophobia)
2 : intolerance or aversion for (photophobia)
Dictionary.com weighs in with "A strong fear, dislike, or aversion" for "phobia", which also seems to fit the bill.
I guess not all phobias are fears...

Even more astounding is that they call a clear bio-reproductive MALFUNCTION and orientation. Sounds more like a sexual disorientation to me.
