Good Lord, Lautenberg is slime. "The depths to which Democrats have sunk" indeed, Rush.

I'm sure I'd agree, but could you fill in some details for those w/o a radio at work?

Lautenberg presented a wheezy screed (which undoubtedly wasn't written by him, since he could barely read it) calling the Administration "chickenhawks" and rehashing all the tired talking points, i.e. BUSH LIES! McCain gave him a pretty good smackdown, but the Laut was oily and jingoistic beyond measure. What a creep.

Wonder what happened to the derelict Old Teddy that was reading Hillry's shrill?

Fake "Senator" from the mobster state.

To: Tanniker Smith
Evidently he appeared with a mock-up of a chicken dressed in combat fatigues - the chicken hawk - to illustrate the old 60's-70's playbook.
Someone has to tell these fools that this is a post 9/11 world, not 1971! Rush says more of them Harkin, et al did this on the Senate floor.

Listening to Rush right now. Kerry is a fish out of the water. Flopping to and fro.
Can the 'Rat's save Hanoi John? I doubt it. They will remove Kerry before the election. Kerry is toast, buttered on both sides with hypocricy.
Blessings, bobo

It's important to remember that Lautenberg voted against the 87 billion for the troops. Lautenberg is an old Red senile POS.

VERY good point.

He's senile...You're right.
The man sounds like a joke.
New Jersey deserves the low-class representation that they have in the Senate!

I sent an e-mail to Lautenberg, and made 2 phone calls to his DC office at 202-224-3224. The DC office is apparently being overwhelmed with calls. I may call a couple more times, just for good measure.

Harkin's screed up next.

"The Laut" pulled out the A-W-O-L card...
Hehe...they have nothing.

Even worse -- they have the same discredited thing, over and over and over.
To: JennysCool
Too bad the days of dueling are long gone. Turning around with pistol in hand, Bush would discover his opponent Lautenberg trembling with piss-soaked pants.

Last night on CNBC Prairie Stalinist Tom Harkin called VP Cheney a chicken hawk.

I can't believe they think this sort of behavior gratifies and impresses the heartland. Losers.
Democratic Senators are always given a pass by the media.
Senate Bigots & Biased Press
Strom Thurmond grew up a segregationist. Robert Byrd grew up a racist. Thurmond renounced his past. Did Byrd ever renounce his? Byrd was a Ku Klux Klansman and a Klan recruiter. Thurmond was not. In 1970, Thurmond was the first Southern senator to hire a black. Whereas, Byrd opposed blacks in the military writing that he'd just as soon "see Old Glory trampled in the dirt" than have the military integrated with "race mongrels." Byrd opposed both black nominees to the Supreme Court, a liberal and a conservative. And not long ago, Byrd used the racially charged N-word on national TV. On December 5th, 2002, Senator Trent Lott praised Thurmond at his 100th birthday celebration stating Thurmond would have made a great president. In one week's time hundreds of news articles appeared on TV and in print calling Lott a racist, urging him to step down as Senate Majority Leader. He did. Time even devoted a magazine cover to Lott.
On April 1st, 2004, Senator Christopher Dodd praised Byrd after his 17,000th Senate vote stating that Byrd would have made a great president during the Civil War. With Byrd's racist history, there's no mistaking what Dodd implied. In one week's time, only eight stories were found. No Time Magazine cover. No cries of "racist" or "bigot." No calls for Dodd to step down.
