I really have to wonder why anyone, liberal or otherwise, is quoting any United nations official about anything. Don’t they read any more?

The defunct and debunked "Oil for Food" program has severely damaged the UN’s overall reputation and I don’t want to guess what the Iraqis think about it. When you look at almost every UN Operation that hasn’t had active US support you find a tail of greed and failure.

The present UN leadership created this, profited by this problem, and are now trying to hide this problem. They are behaving like an unhousebroken kitten trying to hide an accident on a kitchen floor.

The key to the UN’s survival is to seize control of Iraqi before the Oil for Food investigation goes any farther. If they do so then all of the detailed documentation (blackmail) will suddenly disappear.

Do I dare hope that Oil for Food will become the UN’s Ethiopia?
