Can the dems pull off another "Torricelli"???

While I am delighted with the recent polls that show Kerry is sinking faster than the Titanic, I worry about one thing. Even though he has the delegates needed to secure the nomination, does anyone know if these delegates are "legally" bound to vote for Kerry, or, can the dems pull off another "Torricelli" and nominate another candidate at their convention ???

If Kerry is "dead in the water" by the time the dems have their convention, I fear that they will nominate someone else, throwing the entire nominating process into chaos, as Hillary rides in on her white horse (Janet Reno) to save the party. Possible ?? Will it work ?? Is it legal ?? Or is this a scenario we should all pray for to happen ??

I just don't trust these people.......I'm afraid that they are so power hungry, that they will try ANYTHING to win.

What do you think ?? Anyone have any answers ?? Opinions ??

World Net News; Rush Limbaugh; persisting comments herein: I think that if Kerry continues to embarrass himself and the party, these thoughts will gather momentum and could become self fulfilling. Kerry is not the Democratic nominee until the DNC in Boston.

Again, I raise the question: "COULD it happen, and if so, HOW MIGHT IT IMPACT the Bush campaign's early definition media strategy?"

I believe the real wild-card in this is the limitations on campaign spending in the last 90-days.

Actually I thihk the conventions do have the right to nominate someon else. What I fear is that the DemocRATS will switch candidates a week or two before the election.

The irony is that it was Torricelli who helped Kerry in Iowa by surreptitiously planting damaging news about Dean.

I don't put anything past the rats these days. I hope that the Bush team has enough of a election "War Chest" left when CFR comes into play. If Hillary steps in at the last minute, between that and talk radio, it's all we'll have to combat her "heinousness".

I'll take credit for being ahead of the curve on this one (at least I was ahead of Rush Limbaugh) but......I hope I'm wrong.

Kerry is proving to be a disaster for the demoRats. However, he has raised enough money that he should be able to isolate himself, and crush a potential "coup". If sucessful in "removing" Kerry, the demoRats might find themselves in a "pinch" for money. At least I hope so.....
