P.S. Sorry about the downtime. John has some new equipment on order and hopefully we'll have it installed within a few days. Hope this temporary configuration can hold the load until then.

No need to apologize about the crash. It's good for us to experience 'down time' to make us realize how much we depend on FR. Those withdrawal pains will make us dig deeper when it's time to raise funds in the FReepathons. LOL!
Sounds like you'll have a great trip. I won't get a chance to meet you though because you'll be at least 425 miles from where I live in NM.
Enjoy your trip and stay safe!

I'll look forward to seeing you in Columbia or St. Louis.
Probably Columbia since that will be on a holiday. Let us know where and what time.
Ping to the Missouri FReepers. JimRob coming to Missouri on May 31 and June 1.

And that will be followed by our Winter Southern Tour across the South and down into Florida for a few days and then back up the east coast through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia to Washington DC, just in time for the Free Republic George W. Bush Inaugural Ball II. Next year it'll be the Plains States, Midwest, Great Lakes, Bluegrass & Northeastern Tours. Eventually, we hope to visit all 50 states and every chapter we can possibly reach. It'll be fun driving through Canada and up to Alaska and even more fun yet driving out to Hawaii.
Make sure y'all come to Kentucky in that Southern tour. Or would we be on next year's Midwest agenda?

"From Corpus Christi, we'll drive up to San Antonio and stay at the historic Menger Hotel across from the Alamo where we stayed on our last trip to Texas..." My wife and I are staying there one night during the Republican State Convention in June.
Will you have time to visit with The Lower Colon of Texas Chapter while you're down here?

This sounds like a wonderful trip, Jim! Be sure to visit us here in the Northeast during the fall ("leaf-peeping season"). Early to mid-October is usually pretty nice. In the meantime, I really look forward to reading about and seeing photos of your travels! :-)

You guys should arrange your schedule so you could be in San Antonio on June 3-5, to coincide with the Texas GOP Convention. I'm sure that with some notice, some Texas FReeper could get you a pass to get in to hear some of the great speakers that we will have. Then, of course, there are the banquets, parties and hospitality rooms... Hmmm? Maybe you shouldn't be there for the convention. It could take you a week to recover from three days of convention hospitality, Texas style.
Whatever your schedule, I look forward to seeing you. Be safe.
