a little disinformation can go a long way, which is fine with me.. the enemy needs to be defeated... even if we look stupid trying to 'negotiate' with alsadr, maybe we're spending that time figuring out where the leadership is, something that might be difficult to do if they are in hiding during battle... i remember when rumsfeld was criticized for allowing the terrorists in afghanistan to come together as a large group, but the army was able to defeat them en masse rather than killing them one by one

All I know is that EVERY military commander, there and here, did not think waiting was a bad idea. A lot of Freepers did, but they aren't running the war.
