In remarks being reported throughout the Arab world Tuesday morning, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton blasted the Bush administration as a threat to peace in the Middle East, going so far as to accuse the President Bush of endangering the lives of U.S. troops.
Sen. Clinton delivered the unprecedented attack in an interview with the London-based Arab daily Asharq al-Awsat on Monday, with newspapers from Tehran to Islamabad picking up her harsh words almost immediately.
Typical was the coverage by Tehran's news agency Mehr, which quoted Clinton as saying that "the U.S. is trapped in the quagmire of Iraq."
"Referring to the Bush Administration policies as arrogant and insolent," Mehr said, "the wife of the former U.S. president further added that Bush is not willing to admit his mistakes in Iraq, the grave mistakes that have endangered the lives of both the Iraqi people and the U.S. servicemen alike."
The former first lady said that Bush's "mistakes have also threatened peace and stability in the region."
In comments that could only encourage the Iraqi insurgency, the top Democrat complained that "the United States was in trouble because it could not abandon Iraq, nor provide enough manpower to run the country, nor gather world allies willing to provide the necessary assistance for the gigantic task," according to Mehr's translation.

I am withholding comment on "Whose side is this woman on?" The humorous possibilities are endless. :)
She is really, really stupid. Maybe if someone printed a "secret" comic book she would somehow get a copy and do whatever it told her.
Remember the "talks" with Eleanor Roosevelt? Can you imagine what ER Would Say? "Oh no, who let her in?".

"in 2008, Richardson is the VP nominee with her at the top of the ticket. its written in stone, they need to make a gambit for women voters and hispanics to push them over the top."
There is no doubt in my mind that if she gets the nomination -- be it 2004 or 2008 -- she will tag Richardson as her running mate.

"I just love it when they say 'the wife of the former President'...it says she would have gone nowhere without Bubba."
Well, that's true, isn't it? Had she not been married to the Bubba Toon she would have just been a nobody at NARAL or NOW.

In any other country this woman would have been charged with treason Not so. In Muslim countries, she would never have been allowed to speak in the first place. She would be in a burqa, silently tending her husband's children and possessions. When she speaks to these Arab news media, she doesn't even realize how insulting and 'haraam' it must seem to them to have a female infidel criticizing men in this way.

Until last Sunday I didn't think anyone with a right mind would vote for her....well....I went to visit my Girl at her school...(Randolph Macon)....it's a all girl school and alot of them went to the "womens" rally in DC. Some of the things they said floored me.....fortunately my girl was at worst in the middle, at best on my side.
I really had to bite my tongue....lol...she made me promise that I wouldn't tear (verbally) Hillary a new backside when the girls started talking about how she should run for President.

Wicked evil traitor bitch! She might as well have pulled the trigger on US troops and is setting us up for another 9/11.
To: Eric in the Ozarks
Actually, it is time she is charged with instigating a rebellion against the United States and Coalition forces. She has gone over the line. She has gone beyond "free speech".

Stupid, traitorous bitch is making life more difficult for Americas warriors. At the same time she is making it more difficult for rank-and-file Dimmies. Democrat 'leaders' like her make truly outrageous statements like this and in order to continue to support her the R-a-F voter has to stand behind her statements. It's lovely. She and her ilk will suck all the oxygen out of the left like a giant vacuum cleaner.
WTF is it with democrats?
What it is with Hitlery is raw power.

LOL! What a pity. ;)
Seriously though, the pictures of feminists holding up signs wishing that John Ashcroft's mother had had an abortion actually made the papers up here.
