[history]
The Department of Justice has assigned a U.S. attorney to investigate whether any federal crimes were committed when Republican staffers downloaded thousands of Democratic Judiciary Committee staff memos.

Good grief .. aren't there any good legal people who are republicans from the midwest somewhere ..??
This guy is supposedly a "great choice" according to Schumer - which should give us all great comfort.
Once again .. if anybody is expecting this to be fair - you can forget it. This will be another railroading attempt. This is another Hatch mess .. choosing a dem to PROVE we're non-partisan. WHY THE HECK IS IT SO BAD TO BE PARTISAN!!

I guess there's no law against conspiracy to derail the constitutional process of appointing federal judges. Or if there is, it must not apply to dems.
