I hate to say this, but I agree with you.

We need to consider the source of this info ... the media. President Bush has said repeatedly that the military are running this show and the military leaders say that their hands are not tied by the administration.

The media want this war to be perceived as another VietNam so they will slant any story any way they can to foster their own agenda.

I hope that everyone keeps that in mind as they read stories such as this.

I think the only "micro-managing" that has been done by the Whitehouse has been to tell Abazide to do whatever he thinks is best. I can't see President Bush telling the military what to do.
