Kerry melt-down following Gibson GMA interview
ABC Evening News
Posted on 04/26/2004 4:03:47 PM PDT by A Citizen Reporter
Peter Jennings just ran a piece on Kerry's Vietnam history. Included in the piece was a bit of video after this morning's interview with Charlie Gibson. Kerry (thinking he was off-camera) ripped out his earpiece, and said "I feel like they're doing the work of the Republican National Committee."

I smell a setup. Kerry as Victim. Rare that any network would air such a thing unless planned.Either that, or ABC's genuinely pissed off at Kerry for lying to Jennings during the 1985 interview, and "using" them to push an agenda (try very hard not to gag on the rank hypocrisy of THAT one). This may be their way of sending a message.

How I wish I'd remembered to watch. Tell me it's enjoyable to watch the press actually take on a lefty like Kerry.

ABC is lagging behind all the other Networks and Eisner says," I need your help , do whatever it takes to build an audience".

GIBSON: senator, i was there 33 years ago and i saw you throw medals over the fence and we didn't find out until later - KERRY: no, you didn't see me throw th. charlie, charlie, you are wrong. that's not what happened. i threw my ribbons across. all you have to do -
This audio right here is verrrrrrry telling, JF'nK blasted Gibson as if he(Gibson) didn't see what he saw.
Is there tape of this "Medal throwing march" out there?
Sounds to me like there were quite a few people there.

The decision has been made...Hitlery will be the nominee. Aren't the delegates that Kerry already won in the primaries legally bound to vote for him on the first ballot?

Coming up after the commercial, I think.
I forgot how pompous Jennings sounds.
Here it comes!

The decision has been made...Hitlery will be the nominee. Repeating sentiment here.
Jim. what about putting this up as a poll question in the sidebar?
My opinion, I do not see how it could be a positive for the Dems. Would be seen clearly as last ditch deaparation.
Target rich for us.

LOL, the media and his opponents wouldn't vette him so he got sassy and bellowed "BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!"
Well, we're bringing it and now he's whining like a spolied three year old.

Oh, I'm so glad you are able to see it!

I think he knew the microphone was on. He wanted to foster that "poor me, getting beat up on" feeling.

So...who're we going to run against her in '08??
Who else do the republicans run when the chips are down and there's an election in the balance?
Bob Dole, that's who.
To: All
ABC is owned by Disney and they are desperate for ratings. Don't look too deeply here. Eisner is in big trouble and knows it.
