the problem for John Kerry is that he desperately wants to be noticed.

Actually, Kerry's problem that he finally has been noticed. ......and the electorate doesn't like what they see.

My word, I am having a sympathetic feeling. The guy sounds like a hanger on, a person who really has nothing, who is desperate to be someone. Sad isn't it in a man his age. Reminds me of al Gore, both a pathetic. I don't think Americans like pathetic men to be president. Nevertheless, this made me sad for him. I still wanta bitch slap him anyway.

Sounds very similar to the latest Republican ad..."the problem is that they do know him"

I heard this on Rush today and thought, Pity, what a small man Kerry really is.

No back bone, a real jellyfish.

It's like watching an Ichabod Crane body, with a Ted Baxter voice and an Al Gore brain run for president.

Oh, and the big hair, too.

There is an interesting pattern of behavior that President Bush tends to follow.

Do you remember what it was like on FR in the months after 911. By December tons of Freepers were angry with George W. Bush. We had been attacked and he had done nothing. Then with tensions at the highest we used the northern Alliance to take Afghanistan down in no time at all.

I noticed that President Bush waited until he was sure of victory before calling for action. Then he acted and acted quickly. He goes on his time table not ours and public outcrys do not shake him. He waits until he has the force to win. Then he uses massive force

Remember the Iraq situation? Month after month we went to the UN for resolutions and tried for international approval. There were many on FR demanding he at long last take action. They said it was going to be summer with terrible heat in the desert if Bush did not attack. Yet president Bush still delayed the attack. Then when all peaceful means had been rejected, came the attack and before we could ask what happened Saddam was gone.

Now we have another problem. The Bathists and some Shites are trying to drive us out. Bush waits and we are seeing the beginnings of the polls showing that people want more troops, they want more firepower they want victory.

But he will wait and try every peaceful means to achieve his goal. And when the militants do not give in, I look for President bush to release the Marines and the militants will pay a terrible price.

One other supporting bit of information. It has only been weeks since this forum was filled with people wondering when Bush was going to counter attack on Kerry... Remember when they were saing if Kerry is not defined NOW, all will be lost? They kept saying if for weeks. But Bush did nothing but say (all in good time)and Kerry was not defined... alas and alack. But the last 3 weeks have people singing out of the other side of their mouth. Mr Heinz-Kerry doesn't know what hit him.

There is a good case to be made that President Bush never goes off unprepared. Experience shows he plans for victory. When he is sure his plan will achieve victory he acts. He gives them every chance to make it easy on themselves. They never do. I think his faith requires him to exhaust all peaceful means before he uses hard force. I think he goes beyond what might be reasonable. But once the decision to use force is make, there are no reservations.

I think there are things Dubya has in the pipeline for Iraq that may very well change the situation. He will give the resistance every chance to give up. He will give them more than any of us might give them. But when that fails he tends to go all out for victory. I would not want to be against him. He has yet to fold or lose a hand... but it does take him a long time to call the pot.

Kerry is crashing far too soon..
This is the DNC responding to the fact that Kerry is spoiled meat, and the stench can not be perfumed over...

The DNC is attempting to torpedo the "presumptive" candidate --- as Cheney so correctly named him --- to put another horse in the race at the convention...

Remember where you heard this first...

Kerry is a dead horse....shot by his master..

The only other horse that I can think of would be Hillary--that would be OK with me, but I don't think that anything will take Kerry down.

Kerry is a very, very, very small man. And I use the term 'man' very liberally in this case.
