I'm so sorry to hear about that.
It's a good thing the wind is dying down.
I was saying to my husband last night how glad I was not facing another fire season in California. One year 3 of the 4 sides of our large property was burning and we were evacuated.
Bottom line, every year if it wasn't one thing, it was another. Earthquakes 6+ I could take, but the fire season contributed to a lot of sleepless nights.
