I had the same thought about Greenwich, Connecticut. Not exactly a large city by any stretch- but the people who live there tend to be CEO's and the like.

Stamford provides a backup for NYC.

My son said he drove past Site R today and it appears quite active.

Yes, my son and a friend drove over to Raven Rock yesterday afternoon. They said that there was an unusual amount of steam/smoke billowing out of the side of the mountain. Also, usually you are just on camera if you drive around there, but there were active patrols going on.
