"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Another train derailment..."something may have been wrong with the track." Hmmmm...
DALLAS, April 28) -- Investigators with Union Pacific are looking into what caused a train to derail in Dallas. The train jumped the tracks in south Dallas overnight. Some of the cars were carrying flammable liquids. One car was leaking but it has been contained. As of early Wednesday morning, crews were working to pull the derailed cars out of a ditch. Investigators believe something may have been wrong with the track.

BTW, I heard yesterday on Fox that some of the Gitmo slugs released are already back to fighting us in Afghanistan!!!Hopefully, we were smart enough to implant GPS transmitters into the slugs' arses.
(sigh, don't think so, eh?)

I'm sorry but with all due respect, I disagree with your comment to WCG.
The phones on board the planes were used during these flights and to insinuate that any of us would have favored FLT 93 taking out Congress is the wrong direction to take.

Investigators believe something may have been wrong with the track. But, the investigators have been too busy cuffing GRANNY to complete their investigation.
To: WestCoastGal
I was a *bit* harsh wasn't I? Sorry.
I guess the point I was so clumsily trying to make was banning cell phones (or any other item) doesn't really make us measurably safer.
Knowledge is power, and it was only the knowledge that the rules changed that motivated the heroes to take back Flt 93.
Otherwise, under the pre 9/11 rules, everyone would have sat tight and waited for the plane to land and their release to be negotiated.
We are up against a clever, determined enemy who believes their pig god is on their side.
We need every tool our technological advantage gives us, yet we need to prevent it from being turned against us. I don't know the best way to accomplish this.

Yeah. I was out of line.

True, and the Sheeple cannot understand how hated we all are no matter what we say or do in the world. We are hated by the jihadis and despised by many Europeans and Canadians, not too mention others all over the world. Too many Sheeple just do not want to fully comprehend this.
As a somewhat related aside, we are now patiently putting up with terrorist crap in Fallujah even as we devise plans and take actions to deal strongly with it because -- to our credit (a commodity that is rarely appreciated in the world) -- we strive to take the high road. The USA takes the high road and those who hate us will hate us just the same anyway. I am not blaming our military commanders or GWB; I do not know what the answer is to control the problem there since our nation tries to abide by global military rules of law and the terrorists do not.
To: null and void
I understand.
I think no matter what safety measures we take we have to keep in mind that these terrorists are barbarians with no regard for life and that they will use whatever perverted means they can to harm us.
Geez louise! What a world we live in :/
To: KylaStarr
Yeah. It was so much simpler when we were up against the commies. At least they were rational...

I've a quick question here... If one were to call CHP or the local sheriff's office to ask about an incident that was observed involving said authorities... would they give you an answer?

I've noticed. They do come in waves, like the trains, buses, and now tanker wrecks, appear in spurts. So do bombs in mailboxes, schools, roadsides, etc. New wrinkle was the one thrown over the power co. fence, the other day. Then the powder scares/hoaxes pop up. Groan. Just goes on and on. Then we have thefts of uniforms, ID's, chemicals, explosives and various equipment. Then we'll get the survelience scares, what with the picture taking, filming of various weird places for tourist to be. Not too many of these anymore, guess they've got their targets picked out.
Then we'll have a spate of 'fumes' with folks passing out in stores, malls, airports, etc.
None of it ever amounting to much unless you are one of the ones 'fumed', hoaxed, vomiting, discovering explosives, evacuated, or riding one of the trains/planes/ or following a tanker truck.

SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCccccccccccccch Nully! :)

"Illegals voting", is the master plan of the communists, they want the borders open, so they can bring in voters to dilute our vote.
I have found this in the postings of agendas on the commie sites and we have certainly seen the end result of their actions.
Even knowing all this, I don't want to accept it.
Radio just said I should be prepared for 60 MPH winds today.
But what I don't understand is what the radio was telling us about 30 minutes ago, something about I-40 being closed for at least 2 more hours, and to use hwy 68 to reach Oatman.
I can hear the traffic on hwy 68 and it is definitely increased over normal, Needles can be reached by 68 to Bullhead City, then 95 to Needles, I would say maybe 30 miles of extra traffic, instead of freeway.
We don't have much 'live' radio in this area, so may never hear it again.

Just catching up on the thread. Have been out sick, nothing serious, just an ear infection.
Folks, if your not already, please do keep an 3 day kit in your vehicles that you drive to work in. If anything happens while your at work, your not going to be able to drive anywhere and it wouldn't be safe to try.
