CHICAGO – A 22-year-old man was charged with murder Friday in the fatal shooting of a man outside a popular bar across the street from Wrigley Field after a Chicago Cubs game.

Chasen said a friend of Hernandez's had a miniature bat that he used to strike the SUV's driver. Chasen said Hernandez did not use the bat, as previously was reported.

Was watching Sen. John Kyl (AZ) on Fox a little while ago. He was asked about this, and is pretty concerned about it.

Also said he doesn't want to alarm people, but we should be prepared in the US in the next several months for a major attack. Said with the 2 conventions coming up and the election, something is up.

As someone on this thread commented a while back, seems like nearly everyone in the admin. has said the same thing recently.

Another report on Fox said this bomb was probably a mine, and that the stadium where this happened had been worked on for 3 months prior to this big anniversary on Sunday, and was finished right before this event. So they're looking at that angle as well as the at security guards, because it was a highly protected event too.
