The plane that crashed in the field was headed for the Capitol Building that morning. ( Flight 93?)

I could not agree more....and while they are showing OUR mutilated soldiers and contractors, perhaps the media should also show the bodies falling and jumping to their deaths from the WTC towers. DAMMIT...this is a WAR!!! and I am so sick and tired of all this PC bullsh*t.

I could just pull my hair out some days. It's beyond belief that we would be at this point not even 3 years after the worst attack on our country in history.

Yes, I know we're not supposed to be as bad as the bad guys, we're the good guys, and aren't supposed to sink to their level. But where are the photos of the dead and twisted bodies from the WTC?

There were a few available shortly after the attack, but they rapidly disappeared. They were even on one thread on FR, or linked to FR, and I managed to save one, truly awful, of a hand and part of the wrist, lying on the ground, no body nearby.

But the rest of them had to be pulled by someone or other, our sensitivities are not up to the truth anymore, I guess.

Think what would have happened during WWII, when the photos came out of the extermination camps, because no one would believe the camps were real unless they saw the photos. I even have an old yellowed newspaper that someone saved, that shows the dead and near dead, practically skeletal in form, on the front pages of the newspaper! Where is that today?

Well, looks like today there's an effort underway to make sure we don't believe or remember what happened to us not even 3 years ago.

Let's keep looking at those Iraqi prisoners though. The media can't get enough of it, apparently.

Because 48% of the people in this country are morons [sheeple] and are voting for EfnK, and also every reason you stated in your wonderful post, I must reitterate at the risk of being redundant: forget the country. It is already lost. We need to concentrate on us and those we love now. It's too late for "the country." I'd name all the the reasons again but I don't think anyone wants to hear it again. :(

I called today and was again talking with someone who can barely speak english. I asked if my call to AT&T was being handled by a service in India...they said that they cannot answer that question!

The exact thing happened recently to my sister. She had to call re: one of her credit cards, and is usually one to chat up the person on the other end of the land, for the heck of it, asking where they are, etc.

She asked this person, and the guy said he was not allowed to tell her.

And it was obvious to her that his accent was Indian. Must be standard procedure now.
