"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"

Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Ah, yes, "Sherman's March to the Sea".
'Bout darn time we employed it.

It's been a tough day here and I've been grinding my teeth all day....much to my dentist's chagrin.

Now where did I put that little bottle of lavender essential oil??????

KABC had a blurb that some Mohammed guy called in the bomb threat to the West LA shopping center from Canada using a phone card. He said four AQ's would sneak in and carry out the attack. I am awaiting a print article to see if that also wraps up the five semi truck thread.

They said the guy was despondent over money.

Couldn't have said it better! My husband and I are also thoroughly disgusted with the PC behavior and the inability to deal with an enemy who is voraciously trying to kill us all. Heaven forbid the terrorists feelings may be hurt (let alone dare to imprison them) or that otherwise forcefully dealing with the terrorists responsible for kidnapping and killing coalition troops and aid and construction workers attempting to aid Iraqis may bode poorly with foreign governments that don't support our policies, anti-war activists and anti-Bush journalists.

I haven't seen this posted but I could have missed it. Seems to me like there have been quite a lot of accidents involving trains. Did we ever learn more about the train that derailed in Mississippi, I think it was the first part of April?? I remember reading that the tracks in that area were supposed to be pretty rough to begin with but never heard anymore about it.

Gee, now that is something that I think we are all noticing lately, NOT hearing anymore info about specific incidents that are reported, then just seem to disappear.

Thank you for compiling this list for us!

I felt so foolish had my dress on backwards...

Chuckle - you got me smiling with that! If those dogs are all loose together and you're in the way of your cat, YOU may be in danger. Please be careful. We have some of those little pepper spray containers and a couple of the large BEAR SPRAY size ones. We carry the large ones when we hike or have to go somewhere (large downtown city areas) where we are not familiar with the area.

One site suggested sporting goods stores have a skunk spray scent that keeps dogs clear of the area. It stated once sprayed, the dog tends NOT to come back. The following site has a formula for keeping them from messing in your yard.

Dog and Cat Repellant Recipe

I am in Riverside Co but on the other side of the mountain. All we have here is sand, rocks and palm trees, not much to burn except when you get to the open desert and the sagebrush like granny was talking about yesterday. When I was out I noticed Mt San Gorgonio is no longer visible due to smoke and haze in the air, that's the pass area which must be getting smoke from both fires depending on the wind.

The LA news is on, they should have an update at 5pm. They are also talking about West Nile Virus coming up.....

The despondency over money story is his "sympathy" motive to keep this guy out of jail and to allow him to continue his assault on Americans. And will Canada allow us to prosecute this maggot? Don't hold your breath.

As it neared the end of its 18-hour flight, the plane had been transmitting the signal for a hijacking. The alarm code has to be manually entered by the pilot. Air traffic controllers in Los Angeles had seen the alert and contacted the pilot, who assured them that the transponder was malfunctioning, said Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Donn Walker.

But officials on the ground took no chances.

An F-16 military jet was dispatched to accompany the plane, a long-range Airbus A340-500, into the area. SWAT and hostage negotiation teams from the FBI and LAPD rushed to the scene.

The plane landed in a remote section of the airport at 5:25 p.m., a few minutes before its scheduled arrival and about half an hour after local and federal law enforcement agencies had been alerted about the possible threat.

I've been sensing a growing anger and disgust from many people against all the PC and politics that are going on while our enemies are plainly growing right in front of our eyes. I know I feel it.

The young men and women overseas know what we are facing better than some of our "fearless leaders" and are doing a brilliant job in spite of them. They are the true Americans; the ones who are heirs to the legacy of Jefferson and Washington. They are paying the price of freedom for all of us, even the ignorant jerks who want us to fail.

I dont plan on voting for anyone who doesnt take this war seriously. I'm sick of fat, removed politicians who sacrifice our young with their stupid political ideals and insignificant partisan bickering.
