"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"

Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

I agree.

But then, it sort of channels a lot of things into a somewhat predictable route.

I hate surveillance on principle. But given the givens, I think they need to have cameras all up and down I5 and certainly at all major truck stops and all rest stops.

Camaraderie, team work etc. types of togetherness is a very strong thing in such cultures. Sometimes much more so for men in them than in our culture.

Not to change the subject- but China and Russia are continuing to cozy up:

"CONSULTATIONS OF RUSSIAN AND CHINESE FOREIGN MINISTRIES END IN BEIJING"

BEIJING, April 29 (RIA Novosti)

The consultations of the Russian and Chinese Foreign Ministries on the issues concerning Central, East and Southeast Europe ended in the Chinese capital.

The consultations were held at a level of deputy foreign ministers of the two countries.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Razov told reporters that the participants in the consultations exchanged views on the issues concerning the NATO's expansion to the East, the development of the European Union as well as the situation in Kosovo.

With regard to all these issues the positions of Russia and China "are sufficiently close, even very close," Mr. Razov underscored. He also pointed out that though the consultations between the Russian and Chinese diplomats on European problems had been planned they were conducted for the first time.

Speaking about NATO, the Chinese side expressed the opinion that the North Atlantic bloc is a rudiment of the Cold War and that there are no reasons for its expansion and for the existence of this organisation at all.

The Chinese partners spoke about their concern with regard to the perspectives of NATO's further expansion, especially towards the Trans-Caucasus and Central Asia.

Speaking about the situation in Kosovo, the participants in the consultations came to a common opinion that the recent outburst of unmotivated ethnic violence in Kosovo puts in question the correctness of the policy, which was conducted in that region.

The participants in the consultations believe that it is necessary to send there international police and anti-terrorist forces, which have a special experience of fighting in such situations.

Answering the question of RIA Novosti, whether the issue of annulling the embargo on the European arms deliveries to China was discussed during the consultations, Sergei Razov said that neither the Russian side nor the Chinese side raised this issue at the consultations.

During his stay in Beijing, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister conducted negotiations with Chinese First Deputy Foreign Minister Dai Bingguo and Deputy Foreign Minister Li Huei.

Could this be the Communist celebration rather than May 1?

NIGHT DRILL OF VICTORY DAY PARADE TO TAKE PLACE IN MOSCOW RED SQUARE

MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - On April 29, the first night drill of the Victory Day parade will take place in Moscow's Red Square. The Victory Day parade will be devoted to the 59th anniversary of the victory in the Second World War.

Russia celebrates this day on May 9.

"The first night drill will take place on April 29. It will start at 10 p.m.," a spokesman for the press service of the Moscow Military District said.

According to him, all units, which will take part in the Victory Day parade on May 9, will participate in the night drill.

"The dress drill is slated for May 7 on the Khodynskoye Pole in Moscow. Army General Ivan Efremov will take the salute during the dress drill," the spokesman said.

On May 9, servicemen who took part in combat operations in Afghanistan and Chechnya will take part in the parade, a press release by the Defense Ministry press service reads.

Military equipment will not be shown during the parade. The fact that it is technically impossible for the equipment to get to the Red Square via Tverskaya Street as new facilities were constructed in the Manezhnaya Square accounts for it, the Moscow Military District spokesman reported.

He also stressed that WWII veterans would not take part in the parade as "we cannot expose senior people to serious physical stress while the drilling." The spokesman emphasized that all veterans would be able to participate in celebrations as spectators.

According to the press service, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov will take the salute. Commander of the Moscow Military District will command the parade.

A company of young military drummers will follow the commander's vehicle.

They will be followed by famous units bearing the state flag of the Russian Federation, the Banner of Victory, Banner of the Russian Federation Armed Forces, servicemen with combat standards, by the Color Company and the Guard of Honor of the three branches of the Russian Federation

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the prompting of the Holy Spirit to specific prayer. May Your hand stretch mightily over the west coast, for there is much disquiet and unease. Reveal any plans to bring harm, that they might be dealt with in a decisive manner. May the outward show of vigilance be apparent, Merciful Father, but may the unseen vigilance be extraordinarily effective. The enemy wishes to remain hidden ... expose him. The enemy wishes to inflict death ... deny him. The enemy wishes to dominate ... destroy him, for such is their evil.

Increase the ranks of our defenders ... grant them success. Their reward is our ability to come and go in safety, and our praise is to You, O God, for Your loving kindness, and to them, for their diligence. May it be thus, Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

Here is a report about the May 1 holiday in Russia:

2004-04-29 18:01 * RUSSIA * MAY 1 * POLL *

MOST RUSSIANS DO NOT CONSIDER MAY 1 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PROLETARIAN SOLIDARITY

MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti's Nikolai Zherebtsov) - May 1 has recently turned from the international day of proletarian solidarity, as it was called in the Soviet times, into the holiday of spring and labor.

Today only 24% of Russians, mainly elderly people over 60, consider May 1 a proletarian holiday, while 40% regard it as the official spring holiday. 26% of Russians see it as an additional day-off and not as a special holiday. And other 10% consider it an ordinary workday.

These are the data of the poll conducted by the all-Russia center for public opinion studies from April 17 to 18. All in all, 1,600 adult Russians were polled.

Most young Russians avoid any ideological interpretation of this holiday and consider it mainly as an additional day-off.

According to 60% of respondents, May 1 as a heritage of the different historic epoch is losing importance. However, 37% believe that we need this holiday nowadays

Interesting.

I don't know that I feel so wonderful about feeling this way . . . but part of me hopes the 1,000 give the Commies a hard time and that they shred each other in the process.

It has to be Olympic class denial and idiocy that with so much info available,

masses of DIMRAT idiots still do

NOT

GET IT

THAT WE ARE IN A WAR OF SURVIVAL and that evil plays for keeps.

Of course, given that so many are in bed with the same evil, it's not too surprising how blind and deaf they are.

FR actually had the LA threat story about 10:11pm last night thanks to Yaelle who beat me to it. ;-)

Our FR system of breaking *local* news so fast may help someone or many, someday in the event of a real emergency!!! I truly believe we can make a difference in this war against the turdheads.

The LA 6pm news did not have anything new. The shooting here in Palm Desert was at an abortion clinic. I didn't know it at the time but the ambulance passed me on the way to Desert Hospital.

A witness told NewsChannel 3 today that the victim was shot in the waiting room of the clinic. She was shot multiple times with a semi-automatic handgun. She was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. No word on her condition.

Have you ever seen such vague reporting?

"Where the reaction occurred";
"an oxidizing agent mixed with some sort of fertilizer";
"the hot zone";
"might be exposed to the problem"

sheesh!!! this is cover-up reporting if there ever was.

Tell the story without telling the story.
