Well of course you are right about the colors IN GENERAL,
but we have all those "Bush Country" maps from last time.
(plus RED stands out,
while blue is a receeding color)
Bush Country = blue ???
what do y'all think?

Hey, maybe we can get JimRob JohnRob to put it up on the next F.R. poll?
To: Momaw Nadon
Blue is traditionally assigned to the incumbent party.

Plus I'll shut up now... you're doing a great job and I realize its a lot of work.

In 2000, the incumbent Presidential party was the Democrats. That's why they were blue; that is how traditionally they were assigned.

(Goals for 2004: Re-elect President Bush, over 60 Republicans in the Senate, and a Republican House.)

I think the trend closely mirrors how the press has gone. Bush had a big lead, but then as the primaries were going on it was KERRY KERRY KERRY 24-7 ..so the trend showed a Kerry surge. Now that the Primaries are over and people are focusing back on Bush-Kerry, the gap is widening back to pre-primary levels (which is it's natural state).
The trends will move back to Kerry again around Dem Convention time, then widen back out again.

It certainly seems that this race will be won by the candidate who carries two of the following three states: FL, PA, OH.

Bush Country = blue ??? what do y'all think? The irony of red being illustrative of democrats socialist underpinnings is lost on Joe Sixpack and a swastika of honor for the hardcore leftist.
That said, I am cool with red because it signifies "red-blooded American" and the blood we will shed to eliminate foreign and domestic evil-doers (including Benedict Arnold types) in this country.

Bush lost 10 EVs since last week...Wisconsin, it appears, is the 10 EVs that went to Ketchup Clown.
