Anybody else out there in South Florida hear DNC official, Tony Welch, flip out of the Steve Kane show a little while ago. I was surprised that Kane was able to even get that interview. He led the interview off with real softball questions but even with such easy questions, Welch was becoming very testy. When Kane asked Welch how Kerry could win in November if the poll numbers about who best could lead the War on Terrorism, Welch flipped out and angrily challenged those numbers. Then Kane replied his source was the L.A. Times. At that point Welch angrily hung up.

Tony Welch is an important DNC official? And yet he acts completely UNPROFESSIONAL.

I saw him on another show and decided this guy is still acting from the Winning by Intimidation playbook that went "out of print" a decade or two ago. Guys like him can only help Bush.

I miss everything good.
One of the funniest things ever to hit the airwaves is when they catch a lib in meltdown mode.

Typical liberal in that if they cannot blabber on and on without your getting in a word, they will call you names or hang up on you.

Steve is so good at starting with those softballs - he gets the caller going and then goes for the curveball. Once the lib or rino realizes they are crawling out on a limb its too late. Steve squeezes them until they either gotta admit the duplicity of libthought or they go nuts like this ding-dong.
Or like JFKerry did this morning on GMA!!

In this case, Steve hadn't even reached the hardball/curveball stage. He was still in the early softball question stage when this DNC guy flipped out.

If they weren't infantile to start with they would not hold the opinions they have. It's a cliche, but philosophical and political affiliation really are a function of a person's maturity. Leftists can only retain their belief structure while living in a fantasy world and they react badly when anyone comes along to burst the bubble. In other words, most stupid people don't handle being shown to be stupid very well.

Aww, I missed it this morning! Those guys (Brian and Steve) have this certain, annoying condescension when they talk to liberals, it would drive me nuts too! Thats how they get the liberals off their game. Its great!

Up until about a year ago, Tony Welch was a reporter for my local newspaper, the Tallahassee Democrat, covering local news. He became quite friendly with Tallahassee's Boy Mayor, Scott Maddox.
Last year, when Maddox became head of the Florida Democratic Party, he saw to it that Tony got a position in the national party, in payment for Tony's kissing up/covering up during Maddox's mayoral term.
