Kerry tried to separate 'medals' and 'ribbons' to distinguish between them -- the ribbons being thrown away (lesser value) and the medals being kept. But he flubbed up by identifying them as being interchangeable.
[If he didn't throw the medals, why did he need to 'replace' them in the mid 1980's when he requested replacements?]
[Further proof Kerry doesn't even listen to what comes out of his own mouth. He rambles words that do no necessarily have any context.]

According to Kerry, if the medals and ribbons are the same, then it is accurate to say he threw his medals. What a dumb ass!
