Okay, give me a summary please.
Well, the neat thing about FR is every thread will include someone who actually knows what they're talking about...and even if one isn't an expert, one can eventually develop the ability to determine who those people are on a thread.
It appears someone that doesn't actually know what they're talking about thought they'd found evidence Kerry had dodged reserve duty. A couple of people that actually do know what they're talking about pointed out that wasn't the case. And the orginal poster is throwing a fit.

Ready Reserves are those who must attend drills This is factually incorrect. The Ready Reserve must only show up once a year at a nearby military facility, to update their current status (contact info, college courses taken, et al). The Ready Reserve does not drill.
