All this 21st century equivalent of a bombing halt is doing is giving the terrorists in Falujah a chance to dig in deeper.
Time to go in an clean out that nest of vipers, in level the town in the process. The only thing that will bring order to Iraq is the certain knowledge that any resistance will be met with massive retaliation.
Bring on the daisy cutters and MOABs.

Bring on the daisy cutters and MOABs. If you want to conduct wholesale, indiscriminate slaughter of innocents go join the Islamist jihadists.
Your blood lust doesn't play here.

All this 21st century equivalent of a bombing halt is doing is giving the terrorists in Falujah a chance to dig in deeper. If that were really the case, you wouldn't be reading every single day about a dozen dead terrorists here, 25 dead insurgents there. Our military personnel know what they're doing. You are not in the equation.
Did you see the posts up above applauding this ambush and calling for more? One problem. You can't set up ambushes across an entire country too easily. However, if you cordon off an area and leave your troops behind those lines, you'll quickly determine the favored spots your enemy uses to launch quick attacks. Especially if your enemy is fairly stupid like many of these bozos are.
This stuff isn't happening by accident.

They can't afford to dig in. If they dig they dig their own graves. Small teams like theirs have to keep moving. But you knew that right ?;O)
Keep them good ideas coming though...........
