But a man or woman who makes a huge wage for memorizing lines and reciting them in front of a camera is no longer my idea of a shining star we should all look up to...yeah, and those actors get to do their lines over and over until they get them right, unlike the soldier working to deactivate live munitions before they go off and kill dozens or the EMT struggling to keep the patient alive long enough to get to the emergency room - they get only one chance, and failure means lost lives - real heroism.....

RE this article about Stein reporting on the stars from Mortons: In a very odd coincidence, an old Animaniacs cartoon just now on Nickelodeon featured Ben Stein as an incredibly boring (and inescapable) essayist at a fancy restaurant filled with movie stars.
