Kerry's Navy Doctors: "This is a very aggressive patient"!
Washington Post ^ | 4/24/04 | John Harris

Posted on 04/24/2004 3:33:40 AM PDT by Timeout

Kerry allowed some reporters to review his military medical files for 30 minutes yesterday. His personal physician was also available by conference call.

At the tail-end of the article, Harris writes:

The records do suggest Kerry was occasionally demanding with naval doctors. On Jan. 26, 1967, he complained of sickness and wanted a chest X-ray. "This is a very aggressive patient," the records said.
LOL! Wouldn't I love to know what led a doc to write such a thing!

I still don't think there's anything new in the article about Kerry's 1st purple heart. I won't hold my breath waiting for the MediaCrats to press the issue.

The records, which reporters were allowed to examine for 30 minutes, seem to ratify the existing public record

Cutter noted that the 30-minute review time was 10 minutes longer than President Bush gave reporters to look at his military medical records.

On Feb. 20, 1969, Kerry was hit by what the records describe as a two- millimeter-square piece of "B-40 shrapnel."

30 mins is not long to comb through 4 years of records.

I was at Cam Ranh Bay in December 1968. This place was not really in the war. There was one mortar attack the entire year I was there, and that was just a few rounds landing at the airport. It made headlines all over the world. I read about it in Time magazine. They treated it as if Manhattan had been shelled.

So if Kerry managed to earn a Purple Heart while at Cam Ranh, it was miraculous.

Everyone knows that he ran out there after the last shell exploded, found a piece of shrapnel, and scratched himself with it. Then he immediately went to HQ to put his name in for a Purple Heart.

Tried and true method.

Actually it would take a miracle to find a piece of shrapnel at Cam Ranh. Unless it was from training round.

I'm pretty sure that on Kerry's mission to intercept a smuggler, no one else remembers taking enemy fire.

ranh.

The good doctor was probably also a diplomat. What he meant to say was, "Mean-Spirited, Arrogant, Condescending Liberal! Does not need an X-Ray. He needs a brain scan!"

I really think it's time to drop the Vietnam war thing. I think if we keep making a big deal out of it there could be a backlash. I don't care what he did while he was in Vietnam. He was a war hero until he came home and started bashing the men who were still fighting the war. I think we should assault the media airwaves with pictures of him testifying and sound bites of him accusing our military of regular rape, torture, etc. With our nation at war this will have a more negative impact on him. I also think that the issue of the 87 million dollars he voted against to help support our soliders in Iraq should be brought up and often. It shows how yes, he supported our actions there, but he abandoned our soldiers by not providing the economic support. I think this will have more of an impact than whether or not he got the clap from some Vietnamese hooker.

I think it's due to the fact that he's of the "priveleged" class and is used to being waited on.

IMHO, it's because Kerry's programmed to cut and run.

He then proceeded to trash all his fellow military brothers to excuse his own failure to stay and fullfil his obligation.
