I"m with you, they should sue,and I usually hate frivolous lawsuits. I think the couples choice of a response to the restaurant managers rudeness is sufficient.
The couple said they have eaten at Chuck-A-Rama's $8.99 buffet at least twice a week, but did not plan to return.
Tying up the court with something like this would be silly. If they want to go further they can spend a few weekends picketing. The restaurants owner will soon make amends especially if the couple garner more press coverage.

A complaint to the BBB and the State Attorney General is probably sufficient. The bad press the restaraunt got is probably punishment enough and they probably will get a few phone calls. The place probably lost a whole lot of business with the Atkins people.

I guess it's going to come down to what the meaning of "buffet" is.
12 slices of roast beef, makes me wonder what this guy must weigh. Another poster was correct in that the manager here is an idiot. He single handedly was able to get front page, national bad publicity.

I think somebody should sue anybody who'd name a restaurant "Chuck-A-Rama" (when I read that in the thread title, I was assuming Barf Alert.
